An online course with Karen Woodall

About this course:

For parents in the rejected position who are seeking depth learning in the field of relational trauma and specifically for those who wish to extend their skills and knowledge in the use of Structural Therapeutic Parenting. This intensive, which begins on October 4th 2025, offers regular direct work with Karen Woodall which is focused upon the intensive co-therapy model developed by the Clinic.

This group will run in blocks and will offer 20 hours of learning, 13 of which is working directly with Karen Woodall. In addition 7 hours of watch at home content which has been recorded for this group only will be available along with close support from Karen.

The group is focused upon the principle of Living in the Lighthouse Position, which enables you to stay free of the projections which cause the problem of alienation in children and teaches you the stepwise approach to living in your own truth in the face of this attachment trauma.

This course is suitable for parents who have a foundational understanding of the Family Separation Clinic approach to healing children and who want to use this in their own circumstances or in helping others.

The intensive is divided into three parts, each focusing on the building blocks of relational healing and each offering close therapeutic support from Karen Woodall. Those who complete all three sections will receive certification of completion.

Additional content: watch at home, step wise guidance on responding to children in different stages of the journey of the alienated child.

The course can be undertaken alongside other courses to offer a supplementary route to building confident therapeutic parenting skills.
